About the Practice:
Teton Hand Therapy is a dynamic and fast paced practice that offers a unique and fulfilling experience to the dedicated hand and upper extremity therapist who is also an outdoor enthusiast. Currently our practice employs, two CHTs and one Occupational Therapist preparing for CHT exam. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter interested in helping people and working in our active practice.

We are seeking a candidate who has at least one of the backgrounds below.
- Certified Hand Therapist
- Non-CHT Occupational or Physical Therapist experienced in hands.
- A new graduate with Level II fieldwork in hands

Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of occupational or physical therapy, and skilled in a variety of custom orthosis applications.
- A current Wyoming State license
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- A valid driver’s license.
- We will consider full time or part time employment but require schedule flexibility.
Entry level statement:

- Must be a graduate of a US accredited Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy program
- Must have a Wyoming practice license, and current CPR or the equivalent.
- Must be timely with documentation and have a cheerful disposition.
- We value Certified Hand Therapists and encourage all our therapists to complete this certification. Higher pay will be given to therapists that have the CHT credentials and to our therapists that achieve their CHT credentials while working at Teton Hand Therapy.

- Experience in hand therapy is valued but we are willing to train new graduates or therapists new to hand therapy especially if they have a strong anatomy background

Day to day responsibilities:
1. See scheduled patients as well as occasional walk over patients sent by the referring physicians directly from their doctor visit.
2. Complete evaluations, goal setting, plan of care on new patients. Complete re-evaluations/goal check/set new goals and make new Plan of Care for existing patients monthly; Make sure the Plan of Care documents are signed by the referring physician and put in the patient's electronic medical record.
3. Complete daily treatments utilizing modalities, therapeutic activities and exercises, BTE, fabrication of orthoses both thermoplastic and Delta Cast.
4. Complete notes using WebPt.
5. Make follow-up calls with patients, family or physician.
6. Attend staff meetings quarterly.
7. Attend staff social gatherings twice a year.
8. Participate in promotional events for the practice such as meeting with the hand surgeons, open house for the community, Valentine's cookies to referring doctors.
9. Attend continuing ed and occasional clinic Inservice and instruction.
10. Participate in the Health Fair, Career Day, or other community and practice building activities.

Benefits:
- We offer a group health care plan and a retirement program.
- Wyoming BCBS health insurance: the company pays $300 or one-half of employee's premium effective the month following application.
- Edward Jones Simple IRA Plan: eligible January 1, following hire date.
- 8 Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) is vacation time only/not sick leave or personal days. The first two years of employment or 0-24 months the recommended PTO is 120. hours; 25-60 months 160 hours and 61 months and over is 200 hours of PTO.
- CE is encouraged and available with discussion upon request.
- Work on weekends is very minimal and usually only for patients with acute tendon repairs and others that require daily wound care and exercise. A weekend pay stipend is given when weekend work is required as well as when trips to the hospital for treatment or orthosis fabrications are required.
